Thanks for posting. Nice to read a cheerful story with an unanticipated twist. Congratulations Diane. I hope this story will be published so girls can read it. Don't we females know about wanting to look nice in a dress and to be told so.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Billy. It wasn't till I was finished that I realised that it also says, 'Girls need a Dad who can be on their side sometimes'.
ReplyDeleteThis story brought tears to my eyes because i had a dress which got similar comments from my mum and tanty when i was small. I never wore it though because I was not brave enough, they made me feel like no one would like it. So I love this story, I'm going to print it and read it for my daughter. Thank you for posting it ^_^
ReplyDeleteThanks Risha, for your comment. I'm sure Diane will like it.
ReplyDeleteI do like it, Risha! Thanks so much. If a story touches one person, that is great. And now it will touch your daughter as well. I shall mention it on my blog and I wish you all that is good and wonderful.
